Implemented with claude AI. It is a Streamimg client on dos on Compaq Portable 3 - A 286 with 640kb RAM and 20mb HDD and a Soundblaster awe 32. The server compute runs on a mac over wifi (Picomem) inside Dosbox.

Compaq Portable III — Streaming Thin Client A 1987 Compaq Portable III (80286, amber gas-plasma) running as a live streaming thin client — receiving DOOM video, audio, and keyboard control over Wi-Fi — at 12+ fps on the real hardware.

No working floppy drive. No VGA. No TCP video (that deadlocked the 286 in 53 s). Just a PicoMEM ISA card, a Sound Blaster AWE32, and a custom UDP streaming stack built from scratch for an 8 MHz machine.
