Inside My 2012 Japanese Campervan 🇯🇵
This is my 2012 Japanese-built campervan (CREA) based on the Toyota Camroad chassis.
I thought some of you might be interested in a few details of how Japanese motorhomes are designed, so I included photos of:
• Exterior
• Interior living space
• Storage compartments
• Sink and kitchen area
• Roof-mounted solar panels
• Tires and running gear
The electrical system has been upgraded with 600Ah of lithium batteries and rooftop solar, allowing us to stay off-grid comfortably for several days.
Japanese campervans are usually smaller than North American RVs, but they are designed to fit narrow roads, mountain routes, and compact campsites.
Of course, I love large RVs too! But for exploring Japan, a compact motorhome like this is often the perfect balance between comfort and practicality.
We travel throughout Japan with our miniature dachshund, enjoying lakeside campsites, forests, mountain roads, and quiet mornings in nature.
