Bigger penalty for, "{Player} Left Game," status.
For context, my teammate in duos wanted to ff down by 1 with 3 min left. I declined, continued to play, then offered to ff down by 3 with 1:30 left. He of course declined now and sat there holding everyone hostage as per usual. Next game, he's my same teammate and leaves 1 sec in... boom, -18 mmr.
After playing for all these years the only penalty for someone doing this has been the negative mmr and a 5min suspension... Why have we not found a way to discourage this from happening. A longer suspension? If you're the one who leaves, you lose double/ triple mmr? I wouldn't be making a post if this was maybe once a week or something, but with it being near the end of the season, I also get smurfs who do this trying to derank.
For those about to say, "report and move on," I've played for 10 years now and have never heard of someone actually getting banned for throwing or griefing.
