Making an FT-style scratch-build
This is my second scratch-built (1st picture) plane, and I’m trying to use some more techniques I’ve found Flite Test using for their foamies. Hoping it goes well since they’re excellent at this stuff.
Another notable difference from my last scratch build (2nd picture) should be thrust-to-weight ratio and wing loading; I’m hoping this does better for both given it uses no 3d-printed parts and uses lighter foam from BnQ, as well as a smaller motor and battery.
All-up weight expected to be about 560-580g with battery, span 1200mm, chord 130mm, 2200mAh 3s battery.
