Anyone using Snowsky Disc with an ALAC music library?

Realise I might be a bit of an edge case - but I’m having major issues using my Snowsky Disc due to playback and connectivity issues.

My library of around 20,000 tracks are all in ALAC format, ranging from 16/44.1 through to 24/192.

While some of these albums will play reliably, many play with glitches or pauses in playback - and some won’t play at all. Instead, the player simply skips through each track name without playing any of them.

Also just to push myself even further out towards the fringe, my B&W PX8 S2 headphones ideally use USB-C for their wired connection. I’ve found I can rarely play music while connected to the USB cable in USB AUDIO mode and when I can, it will only play at a low volume (with the problems detailed above - tracks glitching or not playing). I can obviously connect via USB-C to 3.5mm, but this results in the issues above (and degraded audio quality). Have tried connecting via Bluetooth, but this is only theoretically possible via AAC - and I’ve so far been unable to pair the headphones with the player at all.

A few things going on here that possibly aren’t related - ALAC playback, USB AUDIO connection, Bluetooth compatibility - but just wondering, anyone else in a similar situation?
