Peve Minaret Bald Cypress question
I live in zone 7(Utah) and have recently got rid of my lawn in an effort to help reduce water usage. I know if I really want to be smart with the water I should stick with native plants but I saw this at a nursery and think it’s beautiful.
It will be getting full sun and it will be in clay soil. I plan to till in nice soil all around it and 3” of bark mulch to help keep the ground moist.
How much water do they need to do well, the tags on it claim that it is drought resistant once it’s established. Will it need enough water that it basically cancels out getting rid of the grass?
