Career advice after passing AZ-140
I’ve just passed Az-140 which of course I am very pleased about but it was one which I didn’t take too seriously study wise as I thought I’d just give it a go due to the fact that I’ve done a fair bit of AVD for the last 18 months or so.
I also passed AZ-104 nearly 2 years ago which I definitely did put some focus and effort into as I’d recently joined an IT infrastructure team, where previously working more as an App Support / SQL dev.
Long story short is that my learning and interests are more focused in IaC and Azure Networking. In both areas I’d say I’m somewhere between Junior-Mid level… I’ve done a fair few Bicep Deployments in respects to IaC, and I get involved in the more complex azure network-y incidents when they crop up.
I guess I get involved in a variety of activities and projects all infra-related. Some more traditional Infra and then others Azure based. What I want to be doing is 80-90% azure… I’m interested in hearing how other professionals think I should proceed with my career.
