Old Account Violations Affect Ability for New Account Advanced Features? Can Channel History help?
An old channel of mine had been fully removed due to policy violations regarding nudity about a year ago.
Now after a long time when I make new account with a new email and apply for advanced features without any policy violations on the new account, I am receiving the message:
“Your advanced features appeal was unsuccessful
We believe you may have previously violated YouTube policies. You've temporarily lost access to advanced features and your account may be terminated. You can reapply for access on July 13, 2026.”
I am assuming this is due to the old channel’s account violations.
I am wondering if with enough channel history, will I then be eligible for advanced features after time on different accounts with different emails or will I never be able to be eligible again for advanced features due to my past account removal?
I really would like advanced features because I know you cannot monetize without having them.
(I am unsure if this is useful, but thought it could be important) Also, something to note is I have one channel that has advanced features using the same email I had used for the old account that was removed for policy violations. I barely even post on this active channel but did post about 6 long form videos and 2 shorts about 4 months ago. I also posted a short today to see if I was shadow banned and I was not. I cannot remember if I had gotten the advanced features for this active account before or after the old account was removed for policy violations and can’t remember the method of verification I used back then, but am confident it was most likely not the channel history. My assumption is I had the advanced features before the other account was removed, but am surprised they haven’t taken them away. This is in part why I am confused because I have an active account with advanced features but seems as if no new accounts will be allowed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
