Aevor Trip Pack vs. Ryanair

Hi, I think the title already brings it to the point but let me break it down anyways. I am looking for a backpack that I can use as a „personal item“ for short weekend trips witch budget airlines. I was looking into The Trip Pack from Aevor, as I think it fits most of my needs. However, the dimensions of the backpack are technically too large to serve as a personal item, but not by much. Since the official dimensions in the datasheets are usually a bit exaggerated, as the measure the absolute maximum dimensions, I was wondering:

  1. did anyone ever try to squeeze the mentioned backpack into one of these „test racks“ they have at the gate?

  2. does it appear very big when carrying and is prone to being approached by gate agents?

  3. does anyone have negative experience, travelling with this backpack?

Thank you for your input, much appreciated ☺️
