I got second degree burns from hot oil about a month ago and have kept my hand wrapped since. I’m thankful that it’s healed pretty well without infection, but I’d like some advice on dealing with a rash. I’m not sure if it’s from bacitracin or possibly keeping it covered/wrapped for too long? I was using bacitracin at the recommendation of urgent care, but switched to Vaseline after 3 weeks when I noticed a little itchiness. Now it’s been 4 weeks and the itchiness has gotten worse and looks like a rash. Should I continue to bandage and wrap it or would airing it out help at this point? Any other advice welcome too
