PLEASE HELP!!
I have a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta, 115k miles on it. I’ve been to 3 different mechanics and to the Volkswagen dealership 3 different times for this “unsolvable issue”.
My Jetta has this issue where it will die randomly while driving and while stopped when it is above 65 degrees outside. It starts up again no issue, and rarely will it not start at all. It has NEVER done this to me when cold outside, works perfect in winter.
Crankshaft sensor was looked at and replaced, I was told this was what was making it die. IT WAS NOT.
Ignition switch was also replaced before I got the car during recalls.
I’m at a loss for what to look for next… do I get rid of this car? I’m still paying it off and would love to find the issue so I can fix it.
