Trying to decide if we really need a separate day of coordinator for our wedding and would love some advice from people who had smaller NYC weddings.

We’re getting married at The River Café and they already provide a restaurant coordinator. the wedding is pretty small (~50 total including us, with a 10 person wedding party, so actual guest count is pretty low).

We’ll still have a DJ, photographer, content creator, florist, etc., so I’m wondering if a separate DOC still ended up being worth it for you guys or if the venue coordinator + friends/family was enough.

Also, is it even possible to find a good DOC in NYC for under $1k(bonus if they speak Chinese)?

Would love any thoughts/recommendations!

I recently bought a veil secondhand for $250 (original price was ~$540), and I’m hoping to modify it a bit instead of buying a new one. I’d like to:

• add a blusher layer
• replace the comb

Does anyone know a affordable seamstress / bridal alterations person who might be able to do this?
