Anyone help, advice, reality check. I’m all ears.I’m 29 and have worked since I left school doing various jobs. I suffer from focal epilepsy and it has gradually gotten worse the older ive got. My last job was a basic warehouse job, it was physically challenging but enjoyable with a good team of people.
Over a long period I did have to have a lot of time off here and there due to seizure increase from changing meds etc.
Long story short I had to leave the company, they offered me a payout and I had to get a solicitor involved etc. solicitor told me to take the money (a months wage and a little bit more).
I’m now stuck on universal credit and lower rate disability money and maybe some are on less and I have sympathy for them.

Going from around 1700 a month to around 800 a month was and still is very difficult to get used to.

I’m willing to graft and put in the work as I always have but finding something right now is so difficult. I understand it’s difficult whether you have a disability or not.

I just really want a job, not only because I’m struggling for money but for my sanity, I feel like I’m just stuck in this rut I can’t get out of but that’s a different story in itself.

Thanks for reading if you have done👍🏻
