PPI useful information

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd share some information that helped to reduce the stomach discomfort I experienced whilst taking high doses of NSAIDs.

I was finding the PPI medication to be ineffective, and so my pharmacist gave me some advice to take the PPI in a certain way to ensure the most effective protection, and it really made a difference for me.

Here is a quote from corresponding NICE guidance:

"Doses should be given 30 minutes before breakfast and (if needed) 30 minutes before the evening meal, to provide optimal control of gastric pH."

I hope this might be of help to others that were not provided with this advice after receiving the prescription.

Note: Always follow your doctor's advice and guidance.
