My Canon Powershot A4000 quit on me and couldn’t open the lens. It was making a really horrible noise when it wouldn’t open. I took it into a Best Buy today, where we popped off the lens and found a spring had come off its hook. However, the three shutter blades fell out in the process. I’ve scoured the internet but cannot find a video of how to reinstall them or even a picture of a camera with the blades arranged correctly. If anyone has knowledge of either of these I would be eternally grateful! I fear I have mostly accepted defeat :(
