Looking for advice about where I am at in my cycle. I recognize my cycle is not complete, but with that said I have been at this same level of ammonia for 4 days now. My nitrites/nitrates have been at a similar level as in the photo for the same length of time. This photo is from today which is day 17 of cycling. I just planted the tank 2 days ago. I used Dr. Tim’s All in One, as well as Dr Tim’s Ammonia. I have been dosing Stability as well. No filter media from a pre-existing tank was used.
#1- Should I do a WC to remove some of the nitrates in order to make “room” in the water column for nitrites to turn into nitrates?
#2- Since my ammonia has been at 0ppm for 4 days should I dose more ammonia even tho I have high nitrites/nitrates? Or should I was for nitrites to 0 out before dosing more?
I’m concerned about the bacterial colony that convert ammonia to nitrites to die off without more ammonia being introduced.
