About a year ago, I made a pretty long post here about whether I should get a toller, with a ton of questions—and you all gave such thoughtful, reassuring advice. It genuinely helped me make the decision.
Fast forward to now: next week I’m picking up this little guy and I couldn’t be more excited.
I’ve been going back and forth on names. I was originally planning on naming him Beau. I spent the last 5 years living in the southern U.S. (though I’m European and now back in Europe), so the name kind of stuck with me. I also like that it means “handsome” in French, which… I mean, just look at him.
That said, I’m not 100% sure it fits. Another name I’ve been considering is Ezra, which I also really like. He’ll be doing a fair bit of hunting, which is part of why Beau felt like a fun, fitting name too.
I know at the end of the day it’s my call—but I’d love to hear what you all think. Does he look more like a Beau, an Ezra, or something else entirely?
Thanks again for all your help last time—I really appreciate this community, and I can’t wait to finally bring him home.
