I've been working with my CPA for a few years. He's generally reliable and charges reasonable rates. Last month he filed for 2025 as well as an amendment for a prior year. Around that time, I asked him how he would like to be paid, he didn't answer, and after he filed, said he was going on vacation. It's been one month since then, without further communication. In past years he charged me right after filing.

Do I remind him again, or wait for him to ask me? Feels kind of silly that I'm chasing him down to pay him, but I also feel guilty if he doesn't get paid for decent work, and I'd like to continue working with him. Maybe he was in a rush to file then go on vacation, so he forgot.
