Graduated college june 25. with no job offer started studying for cpa exams cleared 3 just have audit left which i took couple weeks ago got a 68, i should be good on my retake anyways it doesn’t even matter.
I feel like if you don’t get an internship in college or full time offer you are pretty much done for. In my 3rd year I had an operations internship because i couldn’t land an accounting one and just did vita besides that.
This tax season I did one of those shitty seasonal tax jobs, think of hr block , Jackson hewitt, liberty tax. I honestly did very good, i can talk to customers well and have a decent tax knowledge but when it comes to interviews for an actual job, i always fumble. I have had like 8-12 interviews since graduation and zero offers besides the seasonal job. I think the problem is I can never click with the hr interviewer lady as a guy. one of the jobs went till the 3rd round and checked linkedin and some mf in philippines with 6 years of experience got the job lol
Now i’m for studying audit retake and apply for jobs but there is barely anything entry level up in Socal which also has insane competition for every job.
