Given how vibrant the local book sub has become, I thought it would be cool to have one for movies. Whether you're into local films, big blockbusters, Jason Statham flicks, 70/80s mob movies, the Oscars, artsy-fartsy Letterboxd nerd stuff, etc...Doesn't matter. I think the important thing would be to have a centralised space for such discussions. 

It would also help shed light on local filmmakers and filmgoing, maybe help keep track of festivals, screenings, etc. I found out about the Nairobi Film Festival a day before it ended  last year. 

I'm curious whether anyone is interested in that kind of thing.

I spend an hour or two in matatu queues every evening. It's exhausting, and by the time I get home there's no energy or time left to do any reading. A few days ago I realized that a smart thing to do would be to wait out the traffic and queuing somewhere while reading and head home afterwards when queues are shorter and traffic has subsided a bit.

 I would love recommendations for reasonably priced places I could do this from around the CBD.
