We are in Scotland :

Me and my partner are purchasing our first home. We are at the very end of it all, literally meant to get keys on Thursday afternoon (30th April).

We had a call with our solicitor a couple of weeks ago about the missives and what was and wasn’t included in the sale. We had a query about it, this was that they hadn’t included the white goods in either the leaving in the property or taking from the property. This is an issue as when putting our offer in on the property we were asked to go up to £110k and the sellers would leave us the white goods - this includes , integrated oven and hob (which is included in the missives) , a washing machine, a dishwasher and fridge(which were not included in the missives).

The issue I’m having now is every time I bring it up to our solicitor I just get “when I know you’ll know” or “I’m sorting it” but we are now 2 days out from the sale being final, bank literally sends the solicitors the money tomorrow, and we are no further forward with the missives. What the heck do we do in this situation.

Because of it being a phone call i realistically do not have proof other than he said - she said sorta communication about the white goods 😬
