Anyone else seriously struggling to find an internship?

I'm realizing now that my 1L Summer Internship was a stroke of luck - the first the local prosecutor referred me to someone else who was looking for an intern, and I managed to snag a position.

The first person I called led me to an internship! But today, after so many applications, I still haven't gotten more than a single interview. I'm not even sure how many applications I've sent at this point, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's easily more than 80. It's been calls, emails, cold emails, reaching out to my career center, and talking to a professor and I'm still failing.

Anyone else struggling?
