Cut and polished unknown stone with strange layered patterns — petrified wood or something else?
Found in Korea.
I cut and polished this stone myself.
It is very hard and can scratch glass.
The patterns became much clearer after polishing.
I first thought it might be petrified wood, but the pattern looks unusual.
Any idea what this could be?
