Calories and

Im male, 18 years old, 175cm, 84kg. Recently Ive been trying to lose weight, and gain muscle. Im doing an upper/lower split, with cardio (8k steps on lower day, 10k steps on upper, 12k steps + bike on rest days) Im rlly confused about the calories I should be eating. Some people say to subtract calories from your RMR, some say to substract from the TDEE. Right now Ive been doing about 1800-2000 calories, 170g protein, 60g fat, rest carbs. How I ended up with this is: my RMR is 2100, i substract 500 from that for the deficit, then add 400 from cardio. Im so lost, I have no idea if Im doing this right😭
