Pink stone cabachon marked Avedon vermeil
I am wondering if there is a chance that Harvey Avedon ever used actual sapphire Rubies in his jewelry creations - Even when he “didn’t” set them in solid gold? This is vermeil (it’s over silver.) I don’t know what the cabochon stone actually is. I have no idea how to determine what gemstones are real of not. If not real, it sure is a beautiful “look-a-like.” Thank you.
