Just curious, where do sps or grad students live in nyc??

UWS in your mid 20s

I’m 26F moving to NYC without knowing anyone. Is UWS (near 110th st) a fun area to be in? I’m doing a part time grad program at Columbia so will hopefully meet people there but is it super college-y or a lot of families? Is there a good night life scene and things to do to meet new people for mid 20s?

Hi! Anyone have any suggestions for good movers for Boston to NYC and what the process is like? I’ve never used movers before and with this being an out of state move not sure what to expect.

Do they come and get to NYC to drop stuff off in the same day?
Do you meet them in NYC right away (I don’t have a car so would need to take the Amtrak)

I’m doing this move by myself so any tips and tricks would be super helpful thanks!
