there are two versions, standard surface with tweaks and 7.1 surface. I was hoping the 7.1 would wake the front cam on pro 8 magically, since it worked 10% of the time in 6.19 but with no luck. No real noticeable change. I also compiled 7.1 on a debian surface kernel 4 and the cams do work...but they suck anyways 😂
still no cams on surface pro 4, intermittent front on 8, back on 8 is fine. have not been able to get it to link to zoom or meet though. anybody have luck with cams recently?
out of the blue front and back cam started working. I check every few days and this time they both came up in qcam. running Garuda mokka with Linux kernel 6.19.8-arch1-3-surface. anyone with different surface models like with ipu3 cams working?
does anyone know how far out we are from a release of kernel 7?
