fenix 8 pro or 9?
Hey guys looking to buy a fenix for mountain climbing, hiking and overall use tracking data in the gym and for sleep ect.
Birthday is august 14th and i was looking to buy one for then but ive found out that garmins usual release days are late august early September so i was thinking i might just wait.
My one concern however is are the next generation base models usually better than the last gen pro models? For example like an iphone 15 pro is usually better than a base model 16.
Of course none of us can really know until the specs are released but would you guys recommend just grabbing the 8 pro for the big day or waiting for the 9? Or is it almost guaranteed to not come with the better features that would be helpful on the mountains and high altitude remote treks.
