Needing some advice on my dawg pls
Hi this is Cherry, my female miniature dachshund who will be two years old in a week. She is a cheeky pup like most sausage dogs but the last couple nights I’ve noticed a change in her behaviour. From about 5:30 p.m. onwards she starts to get very hyper, and it’s not even like zoomies hyper, she just won’t stop barking in mine and my families faces. She cries, whines and barks but her tail is wagging majority of the time still. She also gets a bit nippy and wants to play more. Tonight has been the worst of it she literally will not stop , I’ve taken her for a walk, taken her for a drive and have done multiple enrichments with her. I’ve put calming music on which actually did help a little and I’ve turned lights off to make her think it’s bedtime. Usually at night she gets straight onto her bed in my room or under my blanket with me but she won’t stop digging on my blanket and jumping all over and everything else I’ve said. Has anyone had this happen to them or know anything about this? Let me know please
