I think my Chinese teacher hate me and O levels is soon 😭
I recently had to do a make-up exam for my Chinese prelims because I was absent on the actual day. However, the duration given to me was 15 minutes shorter than the full exam time because my teacher decided it would be better for me to do the Paper 2 make-up during class, which was noisy, and during a period that did not even fit the full duration of the paper.
In the end, I didn’t finish the paper. So I asked her what abt the missing 15 minutes, and she said that for the questions I did not complete, I could simply underline the answers from the passage and she would mark them from there. But, the questions I left blank were about personal explanation and meaning of the passage so copy from where…
After school, I also had to stay back for the Paper 1 make-up exam. About 1 hour and 30 minutes into the paper, she started watching FACEBOOK with the volume on 😭.
I felt so confused and shocked about the shortened duration for Paper 2, so I asked another teacher to clarify the situation. That teacher then communicated with the Chinese HOD. But, the next day, the HOD not only SNITCHED my name to my Chinese teacher, but also accused me of “spreading misinformation,” claiming that I had finished the paper when I actually did not because 15 minutes had been cut from my exam time.
What pmo me the most was that he told me to “watch what I tell people.” I didn’t not lie at all wtf 😭
Now that my Chinese teacher knows it was me who raised the concern, she told the class that she was angry someone had complained about her and said that the person had “abused her kindness” by being given a make-up exam, even though the school was required to arrange one for me. During our Mother Tongue intensive sessions, she has also been avoiding me completely — interacting with everyone else except me and not even looking at my work.
I do not understand how I “abused her kindness” when I was only questioning the arrangement that was wrong in the first place. I even pleaded with the teacher not to make it into a serious issue because I did not want her to get into trouble ,i was literally showing her sm kindness HELLO…
