WYR No one can drive a personal vehicle again and everyone has to use mass transit or 100 people die each day (USA Only)

Currently it is estimated, if everyone used mass transit instead of their personal vehicles, 35,000 less deaths would happen each year. Should we save those lives by making mass transit mandatory for non-commercial traffic?

Edit: These numbers are specifically for the USA, but if you are not in the USA, you could lookup the numbers for your country and make a decision based on that.
