Borderline Ch 36

I just finished Ch 36, and it was really hard to read 💔
A relationship where one person is constantly clinging to the other, begging them to stay and chasing after them wherever they go, can’t possibly be healthy. I honestly wonder how the author is going to make them fall in love with each other!

Six Ch and we’re still going through the exact same events. Mokyeon, just let him go and let him be the one to come after you.

I don’t think anyone is worth humiliating yourself for. 💔

Is Tay was Ilay first love?

I reread the manhwa for a second time, and Ilay mentioned a kid who was kind to him, delicate, and innocent when he was a child. Ever since then, he said he’s been attracted to people like him.

At the end, he said he had made the story up, but I don’t think he was actually lying!

That means Tay was Ilay first love.!

Was there ever a motel in the first place?

When the creators were asked, “Will we ever know what happened to the motel?” they didn’t answer by saying we’d find out later. Instead, they answe with a question:

“The real question is, was there ever a motel in the first place?”

It doesn’t sound like they’re hinting that the motel disappeared it sounds like they’re questioning whether it ever existed at all.

After Season 4, that answer feels almost confirmed to me.

After seeing the Man in Yellow invade Henry’s memories and recreate an entire hospital room from them, it seems very possible that this world can shape places from human memories as well. Maybe the motel isn’t a building that vanished, but an incomplete memory brought to life: the sign, the pool, … but no actual motel building.

It could simply be the memory of someone who once passed by the "Star Magic Motel". They saw the sign and the swimming pool from the outside, but they never went inside and never saw the motel building itself. So when the entity recreated that memory, it only created what that person had actually seen. The building remained absent because it was never part of their memory.

The school could be another example. If you look closely, it’s decorated for Halloween. Do you really think the people trapped in the town would have had the time, supplies, or even the desire to decorate an entire school for Halloween? Maybe those decorations are simply another memory left behind by someone who entered the town.

Even the electricity starts to make sense through this lens. The wires disappear into the ground without connecting to any generator or power source, yet the lights still work. That’s exactly how most people remember electricity they remember that you flip a switch and the light turns on, not how power plants, transformers, and electrical grids actually make that happen. The entity recreated the outcome people remember, but not the mechanism behind it.

the entire town may be nothing more than a museum of distorted memories. An entity takes fragments from different people’s minds a school from one person, the Star Magic Motel from another, houses from someone else and stitches them together into a single nightmarish town. Nothing is completely real, yet every piece of it once belonged to someone’s memory.

Man in yellow true form!

The red creature on the tunnel wall is the Man in yellow true form. Victor saw him transform, and you can also see spiders on the left.

The drawing in the tunnel has eight legs, and spiders have eight legs too.

Of course Victor forgot to mention that big information about the MIY 🥲

Someone added the drawing hare: https://www.reddit.com/r/FromSeries/s/bCgIP9a8xq

I sharpened it to make it clearer.

Season 5 logo!

The left side of the Season 5 logo features the “stone cairns”Tabitha saw in the cave. I think they’re hiding an important secret. The lighthouse being placed right next to them in the logo also suggests they’re connected.

A Game Between a Father and His Son

The first scene from ep1 explains the last scene.

I think the writers showed us the ending from the very beginning…we just didn’t realize it.

The series opens with Kenny playing chess with his father. Kenny loses, but instead of giving up, he simply says, “You beat me.” Later, he explains that every game with his father “always ends the same way”. He’s left with one final piece, he tries to make the last move… but he always loses.

That doesn’t just describe a chess match.

It describes the entire story of FROM.

The Boy in White has been doing exactly the same thing. Every cycle, he guides people, trying to change the outcome. Sometimes he even makes painful choices—like pushing Tabitha from the lighthouse because, as he says, “It’s the only way.” every character is simply another chess piece.

The Boy in White keeps moving those pieces in different directions, searching for the one sequence of moves that finally leads to victory….just like Kenny, who keeps trying to find a winning move with his last remaining piece. Then comes the final scene. The Boy in White looks at the MIY and says: “You’re going to lose this time.” MIY doesn’t react with fear. He smiles and replies: “I’ve always admired your optimism. We’ll see.” That isn’t the response of someone facing a new battle. It’s the response of someone who’s already won the same game over and over again. The same moves. The same ending.

Even the opening song, “Que Sera, Sera,” is built around a conversation between a father and his child. The child asks what the future will be, and the father doesn’t give a clear answer. He simply says, “Whatever will be, will be.” What if that isn’t just a nostalgic song? What if it’s another clue that the heart of From has always been a story about a father and his son? Then there’s Sophia’s conversation with Sara about Abraham. She explains that God commanded Abraham to sacrifice his son, but at the last moment He stopped him. The sacrifice itself was never the goal…it was a test of faith. It’s an oddly specific story for the show to emphasize. Especially in a series built around children, sacrifice, destiny, faith, and rituals that repeat across generations. So here’s my theory:

What if MIY and BIW aren’t simply enemies? What if they’re actually a father and his son, trapped in an ancient game that has been repeating for centuries?

He’s watched the Boy in White try again… and again… and again. Just like Kenny returning to the chessboard, convinced that maybe this time the final move will be different. The series begins with a father and son playing chess.

In the end: for the first time…the father may finally lose.

Thomas & The boy in white!

rewatched the first few episodes of Season 1, and a few scenes really caught my attention. In the episode 4, Ethan says that Thomas is alive That he's on a "magical quest", and that if I help him, we’ll save the kingdom. That line feels too specific to be meaningless.

Then there’s another scene in s1 ep1 where Tabitha says, “Let’s get Thomas and get out of here.” she only mentions Thomas instead of saying, “Let’s get Thomas and Ethan.” What if, after the car accident, Tabitha suffered a concussion that caused memories from her previous life to bleed into her current one? Maybe she unconsciously named her son Thomas after her first son—the Boy in White—just as she kept recreating the bracelet over and over without understanding why.

Now, if you think about it, the Boy in White is trying to help them, and Ethan said that if he helped Thomas, they would save the kingdom. He will help him by finding the Lake of Tears.

I saw this photo on Sophia’s Instagram. It looks like it’s the same dress as the one in the intro.

The voices Sara hears told her the truth.!

https://www.reddit.com/r/FromSeries/comments/1u240li/thats_why_the_monsters_never_hurt_victor/

Like I said before, not all the voices Sara hears are evil. Remember when Sara went with Boyd to the dungeon? She said that once the three of them die, it’ll be too late. Those three are the only ones who can help. We now know Julie can story walk, and we still don’t know what Randall’s ability is. In today’s episode, one of them went down. Also, notice how Smiley seemed determined to kill Mari. Now there are only two left. Once all three are dead, the game is over.

What if Julie was the one who made the phone call?

I was reading the showrunners’ answers, and this one really caught my attention. It made me wonder: what if Julie was the one who made the phone call that led to Thomas’s death, which ultimately caused the family to take the trip that ended with them in Fromville?

They said she didn’t change the story. She was part of what caused the story to unfold that way in the first place.

Victor is the only one who knows the answer.!

Victor is the only one who knows the answer. The story the Boy in White told Christopher that the answer is at the beginning, and that to save the children, you have to go through the tree…has a continuation that Victor still hasn’t remembered. Victor knows what’s coming next. Look at his drawings; they seem to predict the same events that are about to happen. First, there will be lightning, and then a flood will hit them, because many of his drawings show people drowning.

It seems Boyd had a dream about heavy rain. Could it have been a premonition?

The Man in Yellow can’t kill Victor himself, so he manipulated Henry into doing it. Why would he want Victor dead unless Victor is carrying the answer?

The boy in white!

The boy who survived the sacrifice: There are 8 F-shaped symbols on the talismans, and I believe they represent the Anghkooey children. We have only seen 7 children, so where is the 8 child?

I think the eighth child is the Boy in White the child of Tabitha and Jade. He is the one who survived while all the other children died.

Look at the image 2 his clothes are similar to the clothes worn by the Anghkooey children.

There’s also a drawing by Miranda that shows the children playing on a merry-go-round, but one child stands apart from the group. I believe that child is the Boy in White, whose fate is different from the rest.

I noticed a few interesting details in Victor’s drawings.

Because every time, they repeat the same “sin” cutting down the tree to save themselves … and in doing so, they rewrite their own prison with their own hands.

I went back through Victor’s drawings and noticed that some of them look very similar to the opening connected to the symbol Jade sees. In the second image, Victor appears to have drawn the opening and the surrounding roots, but the intersecting lines that make up the symbol are not there.

In the third picture, the opening also looks very similar to the one from Jade’s symbol, and there’s a spider right in the center. Do you remember Ethan’s dream where the spider came down from ceiling?

I’m not completely sure about the fourth picture, but it looks like it could be an opening in the ground.

That’s why the monsters never hurt Victor.

He’s the reason everyone is trapped in this place, and Ethan will be the next one. Those voices telling Sara to kill the boy were from the trapped people.

They told her to wait and watch for the two cars arriving at the same time because that’s what happens at the beginning of every cycle. The two cars arrive, the Man in Yellow returns, everyone dies, and only the boy survives. He’s the source of energy that keeps the place running when the next loop begins.

The boy in white is probably the original version of the boy from the first cycle who survived, while everyone else died.

The man Victor said jumped off Colony House and killed himself was probably the boy from the previous cycle. He tried to help, but his actions only made everything worse. That could be why Victor doesn’t want to help.

Could it be that the reason Miranda hid Victor in the root cellar is still unknown to us.

Kenny mistakenly leaked who all will enter the tunnels to retrieve bones of the sacrificed children!

Randall, Boyd, Jade, Acosta, Elgin, Ellis, Sarah and Kenny

I think one of these names will die. I am guessing Sara and Elgin
