Ok, I tried.
I built a 2x8 FRFR cab (stereo) which didn't come out as I expected.
So I'm considering just buying a proper, powered cab.

I know that Line 6 has a stereo FRFR cab but I've always had this thing about Line 6 for some reason. I can be convinced.

Just uploaded a new preset I built using a capture of the Yamaha THR100HD on the crunch setting with an EL34 output stage.
Also includes a capture of the Strymon Sunset on the hard clip setting.

As many have experienced, the QC doubler tends to create a strange phasing effect when used with ping pong delays. That said, I'm considering grabbing the full size TC Mimiq and placing it in the QC effects loop.
Anyone have success with this setup?
