Now I think we need to talk about security, especially around web apps and connected personal devices.
As more apps start interacting with home apps, smart devices, and other personal systems, I think we need to take a step back and ask how seriously we are thinking about security.
This is especially important because Meta Ray-Ban Display seems to be moving toward more advanced connected features. I’m not saying there is already a security problem, but if web apps are going to become part of this ecosystem, we should have a clearer discussion about what security boundaries actually exist.
I think this is a good moment for the community to discuss these questions before these systems become more deeply connected to our daily lives.
Has anyone seen official documentation, tested this directly, or thought about the security model in more detail?
