Move in day and O Week timeline?

Hi all! Just wondering for people who have been thru it what move in day looks like, once I’m done moving in do people kick their parents out and we all just sleep or…? I’m a little nervous and wanna mentally prepare for the day of the the days to follow leading up to orientation activities. P.S if anyone was in the backcountry outdoor action group and has experiences they wanna share or advice that would be helpful!

Finn aid for move in?

Hii i remember that for admitted students day there was an optional program for students who were on financial aid who Princeton paid for their accommodations to see the school, I’m wondering if there is something similar for move in day for financial aid students as well? And do you have to be on full aid to receive it as well?

Part-time job?

Hi there in coming freshman I was wondering if it’s normal for kids to get a part-time job while studying just because I don’t think the amount of money my parents are giving me will last a whole year. For reference, my parents are giving me $2000 not including the money to fly back home (they booked tickets) but it does include all my pocket money and if I wanted to take trip up to New York and money for spring break. Can people let me know how much they spent per semester and also if there are good on campus jobs?
