Free sports field near S Friedrichshagen 12587, preferably for both basketball and football.
Hi everyone,
I’m new to Friedrichshagen 12587 and was wondering if there are any free sports fields in good condition nearby where I can just go and play basketball or football. I often see football and basketball courts near schools or sports complexes, some are open, some closed, but they’re usually empty. One in front of Wilhelm-Bölsche-Oberschule, near a sports complex at Aßmannstraße 10, 12587 Berlin (found on Google Maps), is in great condition. I visited it today and the door was open around 9 p.m., as was the nearby sports complex.
Does anyone know if this field is open to the public, or is it private and off-limits? Also, if you know of any other well-maintained sports fields for the public, please share. Thanks in advance 😃
For the others, worst case there are actually 2 sport fields in this area too: Spielplatz Karl-Pokern-Straße and Stienitzseestraße 5, 12587 Berlin but they either are small, or the field is basically dirt but ofc better than nothing.
