In DEP trying to prep for BMT
I’m 25M turning 26 next month. I swore in last month so have only been in DEP for a couple of weeks now. While I hurry up and wait, I’ve been trying to prep for bmt. I know there’s the new 2 mile run which I’ll most definitely be apart of so id like to build up some endurance and improve my mile times. Just ran this morning and clocked a 2 mile at 18:05. Not sure what the new times are for males in my age range . I’m seeking ways to improve my endurance/mile times. I’m also trying to focus on more of a calisthenics type workout. Pushups , sit ups, crunches , dips, pulls ups, planks etc… should I ditch that and do weight workouts instead ?
