(In Texas) I lost my coverage earlier this month and am currently uninsured. We're getting married next year but plan on getting legally married early so I can get on his coverage once he gets his own. He turns 26 and loses his parents' coverage next month, so we're wondering-

Should we get married first and join coverage at the same time, or would it be better for him to get coverage after losing his on his birthday first then add me once we get married shortly after? Or does it not matter?
