Good Evening,

I currently work for the Army and hold a secret clearance. Will filing chapter 7 cause my clearance to be revoked?

My credit isn’t bad and I’m green on pay history but my debt is literally 35% of my monthly income if I exclude my VA compensation. Some people tell me to file but others tell me to ask security manager at the garrison. I sent an email asking but am completely anxious. Debt was accumulated years ago. Thank you.
