I recently got quoted $10kCAD to repoint my 120 linear ft basement ($7500 labour, and $1300 materials, plus HST) but that’s not feasible right now, so I’m looking to do it myself.

There is significant deterioration in one corner (I’m doing a French drain and partial waterproofing) but most of it is surface level that’d I’d like fixed up. There was some work done prior to us buying the home (last picture) and there is a bag left over and I’m wondering if it’s the right stuff for the job so I can buy more.

The house is 114 years old, and there’s no active water intrusion, just moisture comes through after heavy rainfall which is the reason for the French drain.

Anybody know what this could be? I had mold issues in this corner so I’m concerned that it’s on the outside as well.
