General Thoughts on a PE Gtek180R?
My only gun is the Etha Emek, which is reliable, and accurate enough. I play about once a month, but want to play more. My friend John is always yelling at me to buy a new gun, and makes fun of me because it's not electric and that I need to shoot more paint. It hurts my feelers, and I cry into my pillow because I don't own an electric gun. So here we are. I've been doing research, and think the 180R fits my needs. It's a form-factor I'm already familiar with, and it's not cheap, but also not crazy expensive.
I'm not great at at doing complex maintenance.. I just want to turn it on and go and play, and don't have time or skill set to re-build a gun after each day at the field. My question is how does it hold up for someone who doesn't know much about guns? And is sick of being ridiculed, so it need to just work. Does it make sense to look for a used one, or go to ANS and just buy a new one? Advice appreciated.
