Aussies, would a nighttime hot chocolate like this fit into your routine?

Hey everyone, I’m interested in making a hot chocolate powder you can have as part of your nighttime routine, and I’d love some honest thoughts on the idea. We’re planning to launch only in Australia, so I’m looking for feedback from Australian residents.

The concept is something you’d make in the evening when you’re ready to slow down and switch off. A warm drink you actually enjoy, with the aim of supporting winding down, sleep, overnight recovery and digestive wellbeing, so the focus isn’t just getting to sleep but how you feel through the night and the following morning. Those are the goals we’d be developing it around; it’s still an idea, not a finished product with established results.

The routine itself is a big part of it. You make your hot chocolate, put your phone down, read something or just take a little time for yourself. I’d want it to become something you look forward to, rather than another supplement you remember to take for a few days and then leave in the cupboard.

I’m curious about a few things:

- What does your evening routine look like now? Is there anything you wish worked better, whether that’s switching off, feeling comfortable after dinner or waking up feeling rested?

- Have you tried nighttime drinks, powders or supplements before? What did you like, what disappointed you, and what made you keep using them or stop?

- Would combining these areas in one hot chocolate make sense to you, or would you rather keep them separate? What would make it worth having regularly?

- Assuming it suited you and you enjoyed it, what would you realistically be willing to pay in AUD for a pack with 30 servings? That’s just a reference for the question, not a final pack size. If you wouldn’t buy it, why not?

I’m considering whether to develop this into a product, so I’m trying to understand whether there’s a genuine need before going further. I’d appreciate the negatives as much as the positives, especially if something already in your routine does the job well.
