Built MCP for image generation
We moved our marketing team onto Claude Desktop, and the one workflow that kept breaking was image generation. Write a brief in Claude, jump to Gemini or ChatGPT to actually make the image, paste it back. For iterating on visuals alongside copy, that loop is dead on arrival.
Did not find any useful existing mcps that easy to setup for non developers, and that would handle GPT image 2 and gemini Nano Banana. So I built one:
- Wraps OpenAI `gpt-image-2` and Google Gemini Nano Banana
- Adds an `image-gen` skill plus `/image-gpt` and `/image-gemini` slash commands
- Install: download one `.mcpb`, double-click in Settings → Extensions → Install Extension, paste your API keys once.
