Quick thoughts about our offense heading into the 2026-2027 season
So I’ve seen many posts and write ups about the Bills offense in 2025 and some of the shortcomings, despite the fact that we still had a top 5 scoring offense.
I feel like the best “offensive” years for Josh and the team was when Josh was able to ‘air it out’ to some degree those first few years with Diggs. Now granted, Josh is a different player, mentally, physically, has more experience. I’m curious if Brady and the coaching staff will design this offense closer to the 2020-2021 or even the MVP year where it felt like the offense was on a heater.
With DJ Moore as our true #1, I feel the rest of the room can now slide into their natural roles if you will and with Kincaid fully healthy (finally!), perhaps that dream can become true.
What say you? Are you expecting a more leaning pass offense with maybe more actual pass plays and less runs (on average) per game? Or is this going to be similar to an “Everybody Eats” mindset with a new coat of paint added with Moore? I mean, we still have arguably a top 5 RB with James Cook. Maybe involve him more into the passing game so he can still have his touches, but be more of a Swiss Army knife than how he was in 2025. See 2024 even.
