Tips to prep the next shift when they’re short staffed?

As the title says, my unit is short staffed this weekend (hospital in patient). I’m the only tech tonight for 12 pts, there is one coming in the morning and no tech tomorrow night. Any advice/ideas on things I could do to burn some time tonight (if there is time to burn) to prep the people ahead of me for the next 24h?
