How to disclose to potential employer STEM OPT status?
I am currently on STEM OPT (expires Jan 2028), and I have a full-time job in corporate agriculture. I recently received a job offer working in clinical research, it pays slightly more and offers clinical experience, which is beneficial for my career plans in Healthcare and research.
During the screener, the only work authorization question asked was "Are you legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship?" I answered "Yes". During the interview process, I did mention that I wanted to go back to school after some years working.
I was interviewed and received an offer soon after, and I don't know how to disclose this. This company is a clinical research facility, and the job description did not mention requiring specific work authorizations.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
