I hope I’m posting in the correct place.

I am a Medicare independent agent. I am looking for a cloud based phone system to separate my personal number from my business number.

I tried enrolling in Ring Central but they require an EIN# and a laundry list of items to be able to use SMS. I have none of this because I’m an individual, not a business.

I was going to try to use Google Voice as my cloud based service. I would appreciate any comments, experience etc.. this is my livelihood and I’m worried signing up. Also if you have any other carriers to check out, I would appreciate it.

I have a big dilemma and If you’re reading this, I would love to hear your thoughts.

I became a Medicare agent one year ago (right before AEP). I had a tough time due to starting so late in the game. I had very low enrollment numbers (single digits). I am now preparing for AEP this year.

I am deeply concerned. I don’t know if I’ll be successful at all and even attempt this.

Regarding this year’s AEP, I was told that a successful AEP is mainly determined by renewals and referrals.
Considering that I don’t have much of either, am I setting myself up for failure? Would you sell Medicare if you were in my shoes?

Is this for independent agents as well? Does this include in person?
