Circumvent the recruitment agency?

Hi everyone, hope you're all well. I had a question.

Short context

A month ago, a recruitment agency approached me for a role with a company. I completed both the rounds of my interview (last one being at the end of April just before the May bank holiday). Both the interviews were fairly great.

Now, the hiring manager did tell me she'll be off the whole bank holiday week and that there might be a slight delay in hearing back from them.

I reached out to the recruitment agency last Monday asking if there was an update, they got back to me on Wednesday saying they lost the mail in their inbox and they'll chase the company to get an update.

It's been a week now, I've not heard anything back from the agency. I followed up on Friday, yesterday afternoon and one email today, no reply from the agency. I tried calling the agent who was working with me, I got directed to voicemail.

My role has been made redundant and I finish up at the end of June.

In this case, do I circumvent the recruitment agency and email the HR and the hiring manager asking if they've any feedback/update regarding my candidacy or is it bad form to do that?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks.
