Have they done this before? Will this encourage people to stay for the fireworks?

I know people get aggressive when the give-aways get low at the gate. I learned to not go in the East Gate since it seems like they might not calculate the additional volume of STMs coming in there? I’ve had good luck going through security there and walking over to the South Gate to get in.
