I've been looking for a group like this, but the website looks super fake. There are no photos of the founders and I couldn't find these people on LinkedIn. Anyone local heard about it or if it's legit?
If not, I'll just have to start my own group. I know there are Facebook groups like this but I'm looking for something not based on social media :)
I am happy with my current team but found a role with another agency at the state I didn't want to pass up. I am not 100% sure I'll get an interview for it though. Once they start reviewing applications, at what point do they typically contact references?
To be clear, my manager is very supportive of my career growth and would happily provide a reference. But I don't want to let them know if I don't even get an interview for the new role because I don't want to make them worried about me leaving the team unnecessarily.
Anyone have experience on reference check timeliness when applying for new roles at the state? Or does it depend on the agency?
